Helping Hands In Favour Of Poongam Kannan
P. Kannan is a famous name in Indian football history. In his time as a player he was known as “Asian Pele” for his all-round ability on ground.
Sadly in his last days he was suffering with some severe medical issues. He was even unable to stand still with his foot. Also the financial condition of Kannan Sir was very much unstable. He couldn’t even manage to take proper treatment for financial incapacity.
“Rokte Amar Mohun Bagan – RAMB” decided to stand beside the legendary footballer. One fine afternoon we reached to Kannan Sir’s house with flower, sweet and green-maroon crest to feliciate him. We also did our part by helping him financially as much as we can. Though after a few days he left for the heaven, but the experience we have gathered in that beautiful afternoon with one of the India’s finest is totally life-time in all aspect. May his soul rest in peace for eternity.
