Cyclone Yaas Relief Fund
“For the people, by the people”
About 200 villagers took shelter at the Ashoka Hotel in Shankarpur during the cyclone “Yash”. “Digha Mariners’ ” initiative to stand by their side and also with the help of ROKTE AMAR MOHUNBAGAN ; we provided food and water to them twice a day for 4 days. But it was not done yet . Our Rokte Amar Mohunbagan family also promised to stand by the people in any disaster in the future and we will try to help the people as much as we can.

“Dream is not that you see in sleep, dream is something that does not let you sleep. “
– A. P. J. Abdul Kalam
It was one such dream that didn’t let us sleep. Not some lucid dream concerning our own selfish desires. We dreamt for those distressed by the “Yash”, we dreamt of easing their lives even by a tad bit.
We were finally able to realise our dreams, when we got to know about Digha Mariners’ initiative of standing by the distressed, we, the RAMB family didn’t waste a moment before extending our hands of assistance towards them. Jiboner Rong Sobuj Maroon – JRSM came forward for help as well. Our combined efforts brought together to offer solace to the people who have been rendered shelterless by forces of nature.

We have managed to reach the second stage of our initiative.
We have distributed relief measures to Chandpur and surrounding areas. Some areas still flooded, recovered places stinking with brine…. Rendering the flow of daily life to an absolute stop.
We cooked on the streets, delivering plates of food in a rickshaw to almost 600 people…
We have always been intended, we still are, and will always be. Rokte Amar MohunBagan family will continue to offer shoulders of succour in trying times. Rokte Amar MohunBagan is always bent on being with the distressed.
In favour of Canteen & ground staffs
Pujo on the threshold, the sweet scents of festival lingering. The beats of dhaak echoing, rustling of new clothes doubling the happiness the smiling blue sky unfolds with her soft white clouds. It’s that time of the year when Bengalis gear up to welcome their dearest goddess Durga with the utmost grandiose.
We, Rakte Amar MohunBagan – RAMB were dedicated to ensure that the essence of the festival reaches our beloved Maidan. Visiting the MohunBagan tent, as a token of love and appreciation we were able to hand out new clothes and some other gifts to our canteen and ground maintenance staffs for their tireless service throughout the year.

We are truly indebted to everyone who spend their days taking care of our dearest MohunBagan, their happiness spreading a satisfied grin across our faces.
May the lights of the festival overpower the grim darkness from all our lives.
