Happy Raksha Bandhan 2019
On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan Utsab, RAMB ran in a little different track. We have decided to visit at any Railway Station nearby our house. After discussion we have choosen Bandel Junction which is located at Hooghly district and 50 kms away from Howrah Station.
RAMB started at the early morning and reached at Bandel. Some members of our team have already made necessary arrangements. We have directly approached to the neglected part of the society and it was an one to one activities. Distribution of Dry Foods and Sweets was done to the roadside child, and tied Rakhi to each one who found to be roaming around at the station area
During our return, our heart was fulfilled with some sort of satisfaction and joy after spending quality times with this segment of people. We pray to The Almighty to shower His blessings to these beautiful child.
Raksha Bandhan activities of RAMB prolonged by the distribution of Sweets and tied Rakhi to the Hawker friends and RPF Jawans, at the surrounding area of Bandel Junction.
Despite shopping malls and various big market places, large numbers of people are dependent on Hawker friends till date for purchasing garments, apparel and other necessary utensils. We have honored the commitment level of Hawker friends towards the society.
RPF Jawans are the backbone of any society. They protect us and provide all sort of securities throughout the year. We have just tried to entertain them from our small efforts.
RAMB celebrated Raksha Bandhan Utsav with the police officers and mounted police for the consecutive second year. It was our humble recognition to their contribution towards the society. The spectators were appeared to be safe at the play ground for the sacrifice of the police officers. As a citizen, we thought to repay them with a very small contribution from our end at this auspicious occasion to strengthen the bondage between us.
RAMB took the initiative on the match day of Mohunbagan against …., just before a day of Rakhibandhan Utsab. More or less 20 to 25 number of members were appeared during the session and made it grand success.
